At the local elections on Thursday June 10, the Liberal Democrats will be standing in all 16 wards across the Borough of Tunbridge Wells.
This compares with 16 candidates for the Conservatives, 9 for Labour, 6 for the Greens and just three for UKIP.
"We wanted to give the electorate the opportunity of voting Liberal Democrat in every ward," said Dr Alan Bullion, candidate for Park Ward and Chairman of the Tunbridge Wells Constituency Party.
"This will help to maximise our vote and win new council seats at local level, as well as strengthening the representation of Lib Dem MEP's from the South-East in the European Parliament," he added.
