"Liberal Democrats were the only party who opposed the Iraq war and stood by their principles."
With the war in Iraq stealing the headlines yet again, local Lib Dems increased the pressure on Tony Blair in Tunbridge Wells.
Local artist Luis stood proud in the centre of Tunbridge Wells and displayed his painting which had been banned from a local gallery for being "too political". Commenting on the war, Luis Raymundo Mendez said, "Somehow, the blood spilt by American forces was considered more important by the media than that of innocent civilians. I wanted to address that imbalance."
Laura Murphy, Parliamentary Candidate said, "People on the doorstep are still saying that Tony Blair lied to them. The question of Iraq will not go away."
