Government Behind Explosion in Casino Numbers

The government failed to predict the number of casinos
Liberal Democrat research has revealed that nearly 300 casinos could soon be operating in Britain, despite government assurances that the total would not exceed 150. The Lib Dems have said that the row over the supercasino and the delay of 16 'small' and 'large' casinos is a smokescreen for an explosion in the number of casinos around the country.
Lib Dem Shadow Minister for Culture Don Foster states "The Government has spent months messing everyone concerned around over these new casinos while turning a blind eye to an explosion in the number of casinos which is just around the corner. This is not really a question about the rights or wrongs of gambling, it's about the Government's complete failure to accurately predict the number of casinos we would end up with following its gambling reforms. The Government must now come to the House of Commons and explain its casino policy."
