Tunbridge Wells County Council Candidate Trevor Poile with Sharon Bowles MEP
Conservative Kent County Council has been taking residents for granted for far too long with the Liberal Democrats highlighting the shocking waste of council tax payers' money at County Hall.
In the last few years money on unnecessary or failed projects have included the highways relocation costing £17 million and half a million on the EU-Jet and Virginia project. The Tories have spent over £1 million on an Internet-based TV station.
And when it comes to self publicity County expenditure on publicity has risen a whopping 367.4% over just 10 years, from £1.4 million to over £6.5 million!
"It is time that the County Council stopped the waste and spend the money on your priorities." says Lib Dem candidate Trevor Poile.
"The Liberal Democrats have launched a six step plan to improve the Council and the services it delivers to local residents. In these difficult times stopping the waste is one of our top priorities."
