David Neve is the Lib Dem candidate for Tunbridge Wells East (Pembury, St James and Sherwood) in the Kent County Council Election to be held on June 4th.

He is proud of his local record to date. He has:-
• Worked on planning issues on behalf of local residents.
• Promoted highway improvements through a review of road safety and transportation.
• Helped with housing needs.
• Promoted the extension of recycling boxes.
• Worked for increased residential parking.
• Fought to maintain current services in the Town such as public toilets.
• Worked on refurbishment of Hilbert skate park.
• Opposed Sunday car park charging.
• Had regular contact with Community Police support Officers.
• Promoted increased evening bus services.
• Forever reporting pot holes in need of repair.

He states his priorities at KCC level would be:
• Actually listening to what people really want
• Improving roads and pavements.
• Getting the traffic moving.
• Coming up with 'can do' solutions to transport problems.
• Getting decent and really local education for children in the area.
• Improving older people's services.
• Increasing leisure opportunities for the young.
